Sisters On A Mission’s hope ribbon is pink, representing breast cancer found in woman, and in the middle of that ribbon of hope you find a tear drop. SOAM bonds with all Sisters because of the commonality of tears shed in our lives  We shed precious tears as we journey through different experiences in life seeking health, wholeness, freedom, peace and joy.

Florence-Burton-ChaplinApril of 1998, she was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in-situ,. I had a lumpectomy and went through the process of chemotherapy and radiation treatments for months, with some side effects it wasn't easy, but it was necessary. What a journey, with a supportive husband (50 years of marriage), children and family, I put my trust in God and invited Him to have his way, I cast my cares upon him and prayed. He saved me and eradicated the cancer, and now for his glory I am a living testimony of his goodness and love. Living to Serve
